Economic behavior is a systematic study aimed at understanding the causes of human economic actions, improving predictions, guiding decisions, and controlling their consequences, with the goal of uncovering hidden realities in economic conduct and correcting undesirable behavioral patterns. The necessity of understanding the impact of a turbulent and dynamic economic environment on economic behavior—especially in the age of communications, information, and technological innovations—fluctuating economic conditions, and the need for swift reactions to changes as a competitive advantage has become increasingly evident. This research, with both fundamental and applied objectives, examines the issue of economic behavior from the Qur’anic perspective using descriptive–analytical–interrogative methods and content analysis, in order to explain the revelatory sphere’s view of human behavior in the field of economics. The findings indicate that the Holy Qur’an not only pays attention to environmental factors in shaping economic behavior, but, with a broader view than conventional economics, challenges its assumptions regarding perspectives on humans, the economy, and the surrounding environment; while expanding the boundaries of this knowledge, it emphasizes the active, ethics-centered, and purposeful interaction of the economic human with the environment. The innovation of this study lies in explicating the Qur’an’s distinct perspective on the economic environment; a perspective that, unlike behavioral and institutional economics, does not regard humans as captive to environmental conditions but presents them as autonomous and environment-shaping beings who, relying on faith, ethics, and divine guidance, can transform their environment. The revelatory text underscores the influence of the environment on the formation of economic perceptions, decision-making processes, economic learning, economic identity, and the culture of consumption and production; yet, contrary to purely deterministic views in economic theories, it does not consider humans to be subjugated by the environment.
